We had a client whose office was in one of those half basement locations
on the north side of Chicago.
Late spring storms had been giving us problems with power outages all
day and every client we had in the area had been calling to see if they
should turn their systems off.
The phone rang and this particular client asked again if it was really
necessary to turn off the computer.
I patiently explained what might happen if it was left on.
The reply was hesitant "Okay but I really don't want to."
Curious (and slightly aggravated) I asked "Why?"
"Because its under water!"
