Patricia Chiovari recollects the following:
[The] Silly People stories reminded me of a something that recently
occurred when my fiancee and I went out to the movies a few weeks ago.
We bought a bucket of popcorn and proceeded to our seats, only to
discover (after the movie had started) that the bucket was half full of
unpopped kernels.
After the movie had ended, we returned to the snack bar to complain
about the sad state of our snack, and were asked this question by the
counterperson:
"Were they like that through the whole movie?"
...my fiance couldn't resist - he shot back, "No, actually I watched
them unpop before my very eyes!"
