Watching the local news broadcast tonight we can't help but laugh when
we hear the following story:
Truth is stranger than fiction
Just outside of Tyler a squirrel got 'zapped' on a power line.
A vulture flying overhead saw it as easy pickings so flew down to get
it. The vulture's tail hit the line, grounding it! The vulture burst
into flames and fell to the parched grass below... and started a grass
fire!
The local news crew was interviewing one of the volunteer firemen at the
scene and he related the story as told by the homeowner whose power had
been knocked out by the incident... and whose yard bad gone up in
flames.
