Hiya Loonies...

Occasionally, a truly bizarre piece of news reaches us - this one has
taken its time, but is certainly worth waiting for even if the give-away
is long over...

ROSWELL, Ga. - Most people don't know it, but the year 2000 was a toilet
paper milestone. This year marked the 15th anniversary of those Jumbo
Roll toilet (JRT) paper dispensers found in airports and restaurants,
hospitals and health clubs, and just about everywhere in between.

Over 15 years, that amounts to a lot of toilet paper. Since 1985, JRT
dispensers have distributed more than 293 billion feet of toilet paper.
In length, that equals more than 125 round-trips from the earth to the
moon. In weight, it amounts to more than 494 million lbs of toilet
paper. That's equivalent to 41,167 male African elephants - the largest
land mammals on earth.

To mark this occasion, the product's manufacturer, Kimberly-Clark Corp.,
is giving away 1,000 tape dispensers designed to look like jumbo roll
toilet paper dispensers.

(Requests should be sent to JRT Anniversary, Kapnek Communications, 2300
Computer Avenue, Suite E29, Willow Grove, PA 19090.)
